1. Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in and access to diabetes education sessions provided by Kathryn Alvarez and OneLife Diabetes. By booking or participating in a session, you agree to these Terms in full.

2. Scope of Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:

Personalized diabetes education and support, Physical activity recommendations, Glucose data analysis and interpretation, Technology setup and troubleshooting (e.g., CGMs, insulin pumps, open-source AID systems, Lifestyle and behavioral support related to diabetes management

3. Medical Disclaimer

All educational content is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We are not acting as your primary healthcare provider, endocrinologist, or emergency care provider. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your diabetes treatment plan.

4. Eligibility and Consent

You must be 18 years or older or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you understand the nature of the services and voluntarily consent to participate.

5. Payment and Scheduling

Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
Sessions must be scheduled in advance.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.

6. Technology Requirements

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate internet access and devices to attend virtual sessions. We are not liable for technical failures that originate on your end.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. All personal health information will be kept confidential. Your information will not be shared without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability
